Sunrise Surfing and Sunset Paddleboarding:

Nestled just minutes from the beach, BIG4 Noosa North Shore offers the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Imagine starting your day with a surf at the nearby beach. As the sun sets, head down to the lake for a magical sunset paddleboarding experience. 

For adrenaline seekers, BIG4 Noosa North Shore offers two on-site mountain biking tracks.

If you prefer a slower pace, relax by the pool or take a leisurely stroll through the lush surroundings.

Jumping pillowOn-site activity: Our jumping pillow is the perfect place for your kids to burn off their energy, make new friends, and create unforgettable memories while you can enjoy your lunch from our restaurant and watch them have fun.

Mountain bikingOn-site activity: Get your adrenaline pumping as you explore our new mountain bike track which leads you along the outskirts of the Cooloola Recreation Area of the Great Sandy National Park. Our trail caters to everyone, from thrill-seekers craving heart-pounding descents to beginners looking for an exhilarating adventure.

SurfingClose to our retreat: BIG4 Noosa North Shore is situated less than 5 min drive from the beach. Rent a surfboard at the reception and catch the perfect wave down at Noosa North Shore beach! Dive into the world of surfing and experience the thrill of riding the ocean’s waves.

Grab your gear, find your favourite spot, and let the waters be your haven. If you forgot your fishing gear, swing by our on-site convenience store – we’ve got everything you need for a successful catch.

Beach walksClose to our retreat: Noosa North Shore Beach extends for kilometres, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely beach stroll. Did you know that you can take your dogs to the beach at Noosa North Shore? Just make sure to keep your furry friend on the leash and stay in the dog-friendly section of the beach.

4WDClose to our retreat: Experience Fraser Island’s (K’Gari) little sister when it comes to 4WD on the beach. It’s an off-road adventure that lets you explore sandy shores and enjoy the beauty of coastal landscapes. Did you know that you can drive all the way to Rainbow beach?  Click here for beach permit.

Indoor boulderingOn-site activity: Discover your inner adventurer in our Cooloola Cave – our brand new indoor bouldering gym. Test your strength and agility in a safe indoor environment where every climb is a challenge that leaves you with a sense of accomplishment. Supervised by our staff, it offers a safe experience for all ages. Parents can join the fun or relax and eat at the adjacent restaurant and let the kids have fun.

Mini golfOn-site activity: Tee up for a round of miniature golf, where the tiny greens pack a punch of big fun for the whole family.

On-site activity: Join the fun and excitement at our laser tag arena. Gather a group of friends (min. 6 people) and get ready for a fast-paced, family-friendly activity that offers hours of fun and competition. Please note: Booking is required.

Close to our retreat: Rent one of our SUPs at the reception and experience tranquillity on the water as you glide across Lake Cooroibah. Feel the gentle breeze and enjoy the quiet scenery as you paddle through calm waters.

At BIG4 Noosa North Shore, you’re not just booking a stay; you’re reserving an unforgettable wildlife experience on our expansive 25-acre property right next to the Great Sandy National Park.

Book a kayak adventure with Epic Ocean Adventures right from our reception and get ready for an incredible experience. Paddle out and you might spot turtles, dolphins, and even whales if you’re here in winter. Back on land, enjoy close encounters with friendly kangaroos, and pick up lorikeet pellets from our shop to attract and feed the colourful lorikeets that visit our holiday park and retreat grounds.

The Cooloola Great Walk and nearby attractions

Explore the scenic trails, with the spectacular Cooloola Great Walk kicking off right from BIG4 Noosa North Shore. Noosa North Shore School Holiday Program

Enjoy our exciting School Holidays program designed for children aged 9 to 17. Simply drop your kids off at the Noosa North Shore River ferry, leaving at the end of Moorindal Street, Tewantin and we’ll handle the rest. Our program includes lunch, a variety of engaging indoor and outdoor activities, and convenient pick-up and drop-off services from the ferry. Take a well-deserved break while we look after your kids! What on-site activities are available?

Guests can enjoy mini-golf, onsite bouldering cave, mountain bike hire and use of two onsite mountain bike pump tracks, Bouncing Pillow, playground,  3 swimming pools, and nature trails right here at the retreat. We also have SUPs and Canoes for hire as well as surfboards to take down to the beach. Our onsite Laser tag arena runs regular sessions on weekends and daily on school holidays! There is so much to do!

Absolutely! We offer a range of family-friendly activities available at any time as well as resort experience and school holiday programs led by our qualified Total Adventure instructors. Please check our calendar on our website for the latest schedule.

Some activities are available daily at any time and can be arranged on-site with reception.. For larger bookings or holiday programs and resort experiences over peak periods we recommend booking in advance. Contact our team on info@nnsr.com.au

Yes, the retreat is just a short walk from the stunning shores of Lake Cooroibah, —perfect for swimming, fishing, or a peaceful sunset stroll and the only place in Noosa you can see a sunset over water!! We are also just over 1km from Noosa North Shore beach and the stunning Cooloola coastline where you can enjoy Noosa waves and surf without the crowds!

We’re happy to connect you with local providers for beach horse rides, eco-tours, or day trips into Great Sandy National Park. Some of our favourites include 4WD tours with Sunny Jeeps, Kayak and Dolphin Tours with Epic Ocean Adventures. The Great Cooloola Walk leaves from our backdoor ( literally) but there are a great range of walks to explore in the region and plenty of information available from Qld Parks or our team at reception. The Noosa Trail Network also crosses through here and a great range of trails on Northshore or in our region are a delight to explore
